If you want to lose weight, I can help you to achieve it. Your mind is responsible for guiding you in your daily food intake. There is food that we eat because we need it and there is food that we eat when it helps us to cope with life. This often habitual behaviour is a pattern created by seeking food for comfort.
Overeating is linked to dopamine release in your brain, which gives you the feeling of happiness and satisfaction. Food intake is linked to reward and the chemical release in your brain is exactly what you are looking for when you feel stressed, anxious or depressed.
Treatment of weight loss is never direct as habits related to food can be very complex. Weight loss is treated by engaging emotional responses and individual change of focus. This, in turn, reduces cravings and changes the relationship to food. It is an individual and unique process for each client and it needs to be treated as an individual and unique process. Diets are often stressful and not particularly enjoyable, and when people can’t stick with it, they often feel guilty and ashamed, sometimes resorting to eating more. And so the pattern continues. But my hypnotherapy treatment breaks these destructive patterns to forge a new attitude towards food and eating habits.

I am a 55 year old woman who has either over or under eaten all my adult life and I finally realised I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life repeating these bad and soul destroying habits so I decided to try hypnotherapy as a last resort.
